Industrial Wastewater Awards GAWP presents an award annually to industrial wastewater treatment facility owners who perform exceptional efforts to properly manage, operate and maintain their facility. Nominations for each category of industrial wastewater treatment facility are accepted during the last few months of each year. Teams of industrial wastewater treatment operators visit each nominated plant to determine the category winner. Recognition of winners occurs during the annual GAWP Industrial Conference and Expo.
