PretreatmentWelcome & Highlights of the Pretreatment CommitteeThe Pretreatment Committee members are Georgia Water Professionals with careers in industrial pretreatment or related fields. The committee consists of a broad array of pretreatment professionals in municipal organizations, local and State government, and environmental consulting companies. The Pretreatment Committee strives to share knowledge and experience between all the members and routinely conducts training. The committee meetings are also an open forum to further facilitate the lending of expertise from seasoned professionals to new members and young professionals.Mission/PurposeThe Pretreatment Committee assists and supports pretreatment program coordinators through education, training, and regulatory review. Committee participation is open to, and encouraged of, all Georgia Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) pretreatment personnel and staff members of Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) and US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4 Pretreatment programs. |
